We instill a love of learning.

At BCMS we know that learning must be interesting and fun, therefore we strive to provide a well-rounded education that affords our students the opportunity to explore and learn at their own pace and for their own knowledge; this brings its own rewards such as self-motivation and a love for learning.

Generations of Education

We have been educating children since 1972 and are still family-owned and operated by the founders’ daughter, Amanda Riccetti. Our mission is to provide a well-rounded education that supports the whole child, ages 2.5 through 6 years old, to their fullest potential; socially, emotionally, and cognitively.

Age Eligibility:

We accept new children to enter our program when they are between the ages of 2½ and 3½ years old.
(Children older than 3½ years old are not age eligible for new entry into our particular program.)

Big City has been so nurturing—my daughter happily comes home and talks about what she learned and which teacher helped her! Amanda greets her every morning and everyone is so respectful, giving me peace of mind and confidence in her growth.

We love this school where both of our sons have gone. They learned to be organized, kind, helpful, and independent. They were happy to go to school everyday. We also love the weekly emails full of pictures and all the extracurriculars, including dance, art, spanish, music and soccer. Ms. Amanda and all the other teachers are thoughtful and patient. Everything you would want for the care and growth of your children.

My son is now in his second year at Big City.

I am always amazed with the growth and expansion of learning that is always taking place within him. I am confident that BC is helping in that direction.

Our son loves his teacher and all the helpers. He counts them among his friends. I see his social skills advancing as well as his numbers and alphabet skills.

Big City is a very nice and warm environment. The first few months, when my son was 2.5 years old, we called it “school-park” as we really concentrated on the play and social aspects of fitting into preschool.

Big City was also very helpful when it came to potty training, yay!
