Dear friends and visitors,

Hi, I’m Miss Amanda, Owner and Director of Big City Montessori. I began as a Montessori teacher and became Director in 1999, and I’ve loved growing alongside this school ever since.

I work closely with our dedicated AMI-trained teachers to create a warm, secure environment where every child can grow with confidence and independence. As a grandmother of three young boys, my love for early childhood education continues to deepen every day.

Each class is run by a long-tenured AMI Montessori Head Teacher and her team of three certified Assistant Teachers (1-6 ratio).
